Book Sale

Did you know: Morinville Community Library is currently the only bookstore in town!

If you'd like to take home some books for good, check out our Book Sale Corner when you walk in the door. All of our for-sale books are previously owned - some are even discards from the library itself! - and all are priced as marked under $5 per book. Just browse the corner and bring your purchases to the library front desk to pay.

Twice per year in April and October, we hold a much bigger book sale to clear out our shelves. The sale is out in the lobby and all books are $5 per bag. If you bring your own bag, you can decide how many books that turns out to be!

All proceeds from used book sales go towards keeping our programs and services high-quality and accessible to all.

More information about book donations

MCL Creative Corner

From time to time, when we are not busy at work in the library, our staff create various arts and crafts that we want to share with you.

All items we make and sell are part of fundraising efforts for library programs and services. A portion of these funds cover their material costs.

Handmade Greeting Cards

At holidays and other times, our staff members make their own cards - a unique way to tell your friends and family you're thinking of them.

Lil' Loops for the Library

Raise your hand if you took up knitting or crocheting in the last two years! We did!

Almost weekly we have a new little creation (and sometimes not-so-little) for sale in the library. A portion of the proceeds go to library programs and services.

Have a request? We love a challenge. Let us know and we can make it!

Origami Bookmarks

Our handmade origami bookmarks are donate-what-you-can - we'd love to see what books you're using them with!
