Loose Threads
WHAT
Loose Threads is Morinville Community Library's quilting group. We are open to all sewing levels and Quilters new and old are welcome to join!
We are a group of adult individuals with a passion for fabric and creating, whether it be quilting or other handmade fabric arts. We also aim to create connections in a safe and open environment for everyone.
To each group meeting we bring our own sewing machine and projects.
From time to time, we offer sew days where we work on our charity quilts or projects or learn new techniques to add to our toolbox for future projects.
We also hold craft sales in the library to help replenish our supplies in order to continue our local initiatives and charity quilts.
Group Initiatives
We have partnered in the past with local seniors facilities to provide items such as fidget blankets, festive place mats and other items to help enrich their surroundings. We are humbled to contributed our special charity quilts to organizations such as Victim Services, Be Brave Camp, Jessie’s House, and relief for victims of fire losses.

We meet the 1st, 3rd (& 5th!) Monday of every month
We do not meet on holiday Mondays
