We are excited to host a one-day class in June all about making yarn. Spinning yarn on a drop spindle is a fun, inexpensive and portable way to make yarns you love. These yarns can be used to knit, crochet or weave. This class will cover topics such as types of spindles, how yarn is made, and you will even practice making your own yarn! Learn the basics of how to spin wool fibre into yarn with a 3D printed cross arm (Turkish) spindle. Our expert instructor hails from our very own Knit Wits Spinning Yarns group.
