St.Jean Baptiste Festival 2008 celebrating Morinville's cultural heritage with a weekend of events in our historic downtown. Morinville Public Library's Local History at the Library Project collected stories, pictures and artifacts of the founding families, and staged a 'Stroll Through the Past' in the library. This installation opened to the public on Saturday, June 22nd, followed by a private tour for the Historical and Cultural Society and the Library Board members on Sunday, June 23rd. It remained in the library for one month. We extend our gratitude to the families who entrusted us with their memories and possessions.
