Local History at the Library About the Local History at the Library Project:
The goal of the Morinville Public Library "Local History at the Library Project" is for the library to become a repository of local history in an effort to preserve our past and have history made easily accessible to the public.
This project was funded by The Government of Alberta, Municipal Affairs and Housing "Public Library Development Initiative" from January-November 2008.
This website was created to assist library patrons in understanding how to begin to research their family history, identify Library Resources, identify community resources, and provide tools to help organize their research.
"Local History at the Library" Project:
Please contribute your "Life Story" by completing the attached Interview Questionnaire in an effort to preserve our past and have the history of Morinville residents easily accessible to the public. The information collected from this questionnaire will be placed in a binder in the reference section of the Morinville Public Library as an educational and genealogical resource.
Please include the completed Release of Information document when you submit your completed questionnaire.
